Good Graces by Lesley KagenMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I actually liked this book better than the first. You may want to read Whistling in the Dark first so you have a better idea of what Sally went through. She has a great sense of herself and her responsibility to her sister but doesn't always get it right. She's had her troubles but is determined to keep her sister safe. And of course there is always drama in the neighborhood so it's fun to read her take on life of the late 50's, early 60's. I found it witty and reminiscent of my childhood when kids could run around the whole neighborhood all day with friends.
