Welcome Peeps,
I will be reviewing books here along with my usual rambling rants. I welcome comments and ideas for future reviews.
I recently read a book that will be released April 5th in book and kindle. I didn't know what to expect when I read this as it was a galley. Usually I go right to the back of the book jacket and check out the author. Mine was on kindle. I had no preconceived ideas about what the author looks like. Do you ever do that? Make a snap judgment based on looks? I chose to read the book and then look online for pictures of the author and his true love.
Say Her Name by Francisco Goldman
Written at times eloquently and with random spurts of Aura's writing. I can feel in his writing all the love he had for Aura (pronounced Ow-ra). We learn right away that he is a widow. I felt his piercing pain in my heart for his lovely partner. Sometimes I like a sad, tearful tragedy. And Aura's death was certainly a tragedy but I chose to feel all the love Goldman has for her. Has, still has, always will.
What a happy, beautiful couple. I Googled pic's after I finished. Their love traveled straight to my heart.
